Construction Update - Innisfil Beach Rd. @ Highway 400 (Updated 07/21)
Phase 2 of construction has started
There will be no access from Highway 400 Northbound to Innisfil Beach Road (IBR) Eastbound or Westbound from July 25 to Mid-October
Delays are expected for the duration of the construction. Closure details are as follows:
Latest Update - 07/21 - Phase 2
Prior to the off-ramps being closed
- IBR Westbound and Eastbound will reopen under Highway 400
- A temporary on-ramp from IBR Westbound to Highway 400 Southbound will open
- A temporary on-ramp from IBR Eastbound to Highway 400 Northbound will open
A signed detour route will be set up to direct motorists from the Highway 89 exit to IBR.
Please note the current closure of a portion of Innisfil Beach Road will remain in place until July 25 (Phase 1)
Phase 1:
During the On-Ramp Closure - 10:00 PM, June 23 to 5:00 AM, June 26
Vehicles will have to line up on Industrial Park Rd at Innisfil Beach Rd and make a left when they get the green light signal.
During the Full Closure of Innisfil Beach Rd – 3 Weeks starting July 4, 2023
The on-Ramp to Hwy 400 NB will be open from the east side of Hwy 400 but will be closed from the west side
The on-Ramp to Hwy 400 SB will be open from the west side of Hwy 400 but will be closed from the east side
The off-ramp from Hwy 400 SB will only provide access for eastbound traffic (Innisfil and Alcona)
The off-ramp from Hwy 400 NB will only provide access for westbound traffic (Thornton and Essa)
